How to compress a photo to 100 KB
- Tap "Add photos" or drop your photos onto the box. 100 KB is already chosen.
- Tap "Compress".
- Download the photo, or all of them in one ZIP file.
Good to know
Each photo is tried at the best quality first. Quality, and if needed the size in pixels, is lowered only as far as it takes to get under 100 KB.
At 100 KB most photos still look sharp on a phone or computer screen.
We count 1 KB as 1,000 bytes, so the photo also fits forms that count 1 KB as 1,024 bytes. Need a different size? Choose "Other" and type it in.

Will the photo still look good?
Usually, yes, on screen. The bigger and more detailed the original, the more it has to be compressed, so check the preview before you send it.
Can I compress several photos at once?
Yes, up to 4 at a time without an account, each up to 10 MB. Each one is made smaller than 100 KB, and you can download them together in one ZIP file.
Can I use iPhone photos?
Yes. iPhone (HEIC) photos are converted and saved as JPG.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Your photos are compressed by your browser on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
