Fill and sign a PDF

Add your PDF, tap where you want your name, details, date or signature, and download the signed copy. No printing or scanning, and your PDF never leaves your device.

Your files are processed on this device. Nothing is uploaded, and once you’ve added your first file it keeps working in flight mode.

How to fill and sign a PDF

  1. Tap "Add a PDF" and choose the document.
  2. Choose Text, Date, Tick or Signature, then tap the page where it should go. Drag anything to move it.
  3. If the PDF has its own form boxes, fill them in the list above the pages.
  4. Tap "Finish and download PDF".

Good to know

Draw your signature with a finger or mouse, type your name in handwriting style, or use a photo of your signature on white paper. The paper background is removed so only the ink shows.

Your signature is made and placed on your own device. It is not uploaded, stored or sent anywhere, and it is gone when you close the page.

A signature added this way is an electronic signature. Many everyday documents accept one, but some documents need a handwritten or specially certified signature by law, so check what the document requires.

Questions

Can I fill in the boxes of a PDF form?

Yes. If the PDF has its own form boxes, they appear in a list above the pages so you can fill them in. You can also type anywhere on any PDF.

Can I lock my answers?

Yes. Leave "Lock my answers" ticked and the filled-in boxes become part of the page, so they can’t be edited.

Is my signature saved anywhere?

No. It exists only on this page on your device until you close it.

Which characters can I type?

Text you place on the page can be in English and other European languages, Greek, Russian and other Cyrillic alphabets, Chinese (simplified), Hindi, Bengali, Arabic and Urdu. For letters beyond Western European ones, a free Noto font is downloaded when needed and built into your PDF. If a character can’t be written, the tool names it.
