Terms of use

These terms apply when you use pdfandphoto.com and when you buy a paid plan. By using the site, you agree to them.

Using the tools

• The tools are free and provided as they are. We work to make them reliable, but we can’t promise they are free of errors. Check your results before relying on them, and keep your originals.
• You are responsible for the files you use and for having the right to use them.
• Electronic signatures: whether an electronic signature is acceptable for a particular document, in your country, is your responsibility and that of the people signing.
• Passwords: we never see or store passwords you set on PDFs, so we can’t recover a forgotten one. Keep your originals.

What you may not do

• Use the site for anything illegal, for fraud or for spam.
• Use the tools to create false or misleading documents.
• Use the tools to infringe anyone else’s rights, such as their copyright or privacy.
• Interfere with the site or its security: no malware, no probing for weaknesses, no overloading it, and no automated copying (scraping) of the site.

Your files and what you make

Your files stay on your device and remain yours. We claim no rights in the files you use or the results you make. If you believe someone has used our tools to infringe your rights, email us and we will act on it wherever we can.

Our site

The site, its tools, design and text belong to PDF and Photo and its licensors. Open-source parts remain under their own licences.

Service

We work to keep the site available and working well, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Paid plans

• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders.
• Paddle takes the payment, adds sales tax or VAT where it applies, and sends your receipt. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
• Plans are subscriptions. They are paid monthly or every 12 months, at the price shown when you buy, plus any tax. They renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time. You won’t be charged again, and your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds: a full refund if you ask within 14 days of any payment. See our refund policy.
• If we change a plan’s price, we will email you before your next payment, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
• Business plans are priced per user. The person who buys a Business plan is responsible for the staff logins under it.

Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or end an account, or access to the site, for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for non-payment, or to deal with fraud or a security risk. If we end a paid plan when you have not broken these terms, we refund the part you have paid for but not used.

No professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, PDF and Photo is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or its tools. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.

PDF and Photo is a trading name of ExecuCash (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2018/591437/07. These terms are an agreement between you and ExecuCash (Pty) Ltd.
